Polly Burst

My darling Polly, I miss you so much. You spent all your life with me, from 6 weeks old untill you were 18 years old. Your name came about from you! Way back when you were a tiny little fluff ball, you used to climb up my leg all the way to my shoulder & sit on it & wash my ears! Which reminded me of a parrot..say I called you Polly parret! You always did things on your own terms & were selective shall we say? I watched you grow from a tiny little ball of fluff into my beautiful long haired girl. You loved to lay in the garden in the sunshine & purr away. We stayed together through many of life's ups & downs..you were always there for me to cuddle. Old age crept up on you & I had to take that terrible decision every pet owner dreads. That was the hardest thing I have ever had to do. Losing you broke my heart & it has never recovered. I know it was your time to cross the Rainbow Bridge & I hope your up there running through the fields chasing the butterflies & laying in the sunshine with your friends. Always remember you are my beautiful girl & you always will be. I love you always Polly & I can't wait to see you again one day. Xxx
