Misty Everett

May 2010-June 2024 Misty's name was originally going to be Mystery because she had been so shy when we had gone to the farm to pick a puppy for adoption. Despite her shyness, she and Mikayla clicked immediately and the decision was made that we would get her and her brother, Shadow. We took them home shortly after and it was the best decision we ever made. Within two weeks of bringing them home, Misty came out of her shell and we knew the name Mystery, no longer suited her. We renamed her Misty and she was our sweet, lazy girl from then on. Misty preferred attempting to be a lap dog to playing fetch, and loved her treats and food rather than chew toys. She loved trying to curl up in her families' laps and giving kisses, our sweet, loving girl. We kept her and her brother comfortable until they were both ready to go, as they had never been separated and we were not going to be the ones who separated them. We miss them both dearly.
