Shaggy Young

Shaggy was a very special hamster to me and my family. We adopted him on March 21st 2021. He is named after the Scooby-Doo character and his long shaggy fur. Shaggy loved everyone and everything. He loved being petted on the head and he loved being held. He loved chewing on the white blanket. His favorite snacks were unsalted peanuts,plain cheerios and carrots. On June 2023 Shaggy was diagnosed with cancer after my parents and I saw the bump that was growing on Shaggy's chest. Shaggy fought a courageous battle with cancer. On August 5th Shaggy was shaking,paralyzed,refused to eat or drink,he was breathing slowly and he was feeling cold. Sadly on August 6th at 3:30 pm Shaggy lost his battle to cancer at the age of 2. We will miss him and always love him forever and ever. We love you very much Shaggy.
